Decking of bangkirai
You were right about the pressure washer! The material is really rock hard, stood 10cm away on a few surfaces you don't see clearly and nothing happened.chris47 said:

Hello, we are not satisfied because many of the bangkirai boards are uneven and have splinters at the edges. I don't know if we received a second sorting of bangkirai boards, but after we complained, k-rauta replaced 1/3 of the deck, and these new boards were smooth and nice. In other words, it's important to be involved before the boards are laid by the carpenter so that you can immediately set aside the ones that are bad. Difficult to do afterwards. Expensive and poor quality.J JF. said:
Hi! Didn't the carpenter check all the boards before laying them?M Michael Hübbert said:Hello, we are not satisfied because many of the bangkirai boards are uneven and have splinters at the edges. No, the carpenters didn't check the boards that carefully and we noticed it only after everything was installed. We're now in a dispute with the construction company, reclamation, and they refer to K-rauta, who in turn refers to Kärnsund. A seller at Kärnsund replied that the Bangkirai decking had the quality that was promised. He also thinks that the inspector's report lacks a detailed description of the defects. In the report, the inspector wrote that the wood is of subpar quality and should never have been installed. Photos of the decking have been attached to the report. It could become a case for ARN, etc.Vildebill said:

That's unfortunate! It sounds crazy for Kärnsund to oppose an inspection, what do they have to gain from it? If you take the case to ARN, it will be clear.M Michael Hübbert said:No, the carpenters didn't check the boards that closely, and we only noticed when everything was installed. However, it's probably K-Rauta you need to file the claim against, as it's K-Rauta that procured and sold the decking to you, typical behavior to refer to subcontractors.
Hello! How did it go for you? Did you get the boards replaced?M Michael Hübbert said:Hello, we are not satisfied because many of the bangkirai boards are uneven and have splinters at the edges.
