I'm putting up plywood in the bathroom. I had bought a lot of plywood from Beijer that wasn't enough, so I went to the nearest lumber yard to buy a small 2500x900 piece that was missing. I was surprised by the color difference when I put it up. I'm wondering if anyone has experienced this and if it's common with construction plywood? The Moelven sheet was bought today.
There should be a product declaration on what you bought?L Luki5 said:I'm putting up plywood in the bathroom. Yes, but the store where you bought it should be able to provide a product sheet detailing what type of wood is used in the sheets because they seem to be different or is it an optical illusion?L Luki5 said:
Is it possibly a wet room plywood or an uncoated plywood?
The reason for asking if it is unusual was more about whether the board has gone bad so one should put up a new one, but from what I could see at the lumberyard, the entire pile was the same color.
I can't find anything about the species on RAW plywood but moelven has 98% spruce and 2% pine.Rejäl said:

You should ask Beijer!L Luki5 said:Is it possibly a wet room plywood or an unplastered plywood?

The reason for the question if it is unusual was more if the board has gone bad so you should put up a new one but what I could see at the lumberyard was the whole stack the same color.
