Since both the fridge and dishwasher will collide with the existing windowsill, I'm wondering what I should cut it with. It probably won't be a very neat cut, so some form of L-shaped trim might need to cover the cut. Or how would you have done it? I don't understand how the current windowsill was installed by the window company? Kitchen window sill above radiator, surrounded by dishwasher and countertop; view of a garden through the window. Wide white windowsill with a gray plate, positioned above a radiator and furniture, reflects query on how to trim or modify it for kitchen appliance fitting. Hand pointing at a window ledge, indicating possible collision with appliances; wooden surface and visible cables underneath.

Karmen stands on the windowsill. Japanese saw and steady hand.
