It's time to replace the decking on the pier. It’s a long pier with utility poles on concrete rings, across the utility poles there are currently 50x100 joists, and on top of that, the decking in 35x150 (all pressure-treated, sawn wood). The utility poles are spaced at 115cm center-to-center, total width of the pier is 145 cm. Built in the 1970s.
I plan to keep the utility poles and replace the rest. The new decking will be 28x120 planks, but I'm considering the joists. Would 45x70 standing work? I've looked at 50x100 pressure-treated, but it's expensive. It's about 34 meters long, so it will be roughly 90 meters of joists.
So what do you think? What dimension should I use for the cross joists? Attaching a picture (the utility poles will be aligned, and I plan to add sill paper as extra protection on top of them)...
45x70 sounds flimsy in my eyes. We're talking about a bridge here, not a patio deck. There's a difference of about 3 kr/m between 45x70 and 45x95. That is, the cost difference is negligible.

I already have a couple of cm above the concrete foundation and the outermost part (which is new since a few years). I was considering horizontal 95s or even 120, but it seems weak + it would result in poor water drainage.
At the same time, 115 cm isn't particularly long. But 70 might be too weak...

Edit: just saw that I missed writing that the current 50x100 is laying on the splash, not standing.
According to what I can interpret from the span table, 45x70 should handle a span of 1.1 meters.
