A couple of months ago, I hired craftsmen to plaster and paint my walls. They did a very nice job, but I have now discovered cracks in several places, some really long and visible
I know nothing about this, maybe someone can advise me? Do I have the right to have the cracks fixed? A newly renovated apartment should look newly renovated for longer than this, right? I personally think it's the plaster that has cracked (they bought the plaster and primer), but I also wonder if it could have to do with the paint (Beckers, the only material I bought myself)? What could have caused this?
Grateful for any help!

depends a bit on what the cracks look like...(some pictures are always good)
if they are straight, then maybe the substrate is moving and the crack is over an underlying joint
if they are uneven, maybe too thick a layer of spackle for example, or also there the substrate is not stable
(is moving)
