Hello, I have noticed that in some places on our mexitegel facade, the plaster has started to detach or "shrink" between the stones so that you can see gaps. How do you seal that? Is there renovation plaster? Or is it nothing to worry about at all?

If there are cracks in the mortar of a masonry, it means you have movements in the house, and that's not something to be taken lightly?!

Is the house sinking in a corner, or is the frost lifting it up in the spring?

Sure, you can repair the cracks with new mortar, but they will surely reappear just like cracks in an old face that has been covered up with makeup if you don’t remove the cause first.

Here come some pictures. It's easier than trying to explain the situation.....

It should be as you, Tommy_S, say. I don't know how to deal with houses that move. It seems to be a problem even with newly built houses. Our house was built in 75, so maybe it's not so strange after all that it moves a bit....
