I'm going to cut cove moldings for a ceiling that slopes. How do you do it? Should I cut 45 degrees on the piece that will sit along the highest wall, but how do I cut the piece that sits along the sloping wall? 45 degrees and then eyeball and fine-tune until it looks decent?
OR if the ceiling slopes (e.g., 10 degrees). Should I cut 45 degrees but also turn the saw 10 degrees from the plumb line?
OR should I also cut the first piece at 5 degrees from the plumb line and the second piece at 5 degrees (5+5=10)?
Difficult to say when you're not on site. You'll need to have small pieces, about 20 cm long, saw, try changing the saw, saw and try again until you're satisfied. Hålkärl is not easy to achieve when it angles in all directions.
