Hello

I'm considering converting part of my carport into a small workshop. However, I have no idea what I need to do with the foundation. How would you solve this? Pour a frame, set footings, or something else?

The room is 3 x 5 meters. I want as much ceiling height as possible, so I plan to have an open sloped roof, install 2 windows on the left long wall, and replace the current swinging door with a regular door.

Can I get a hint about the cost of the work to fix the foundation for the construction, which I believe includes:

* Fixing the foundation somehow and insulating it so I can lay the floor
* Installing two windows
* Framing and insulating walls and roof
* Installing a door

  • A partially constructed wooden room with exposed beams and walls, dirt floor, and miscellaneous items stored inside. No windows or doors installed yet.
  • Wooden interior of carport with exposed beams and an open doorway, plastic bins stacked on dirt floor, and a single light bulb overhead.
  • Open carport with exposed beams, gravel floor, and white wooden door, intended for transformation into a workshop with additional windows and door.
