Consumption of grout tiles, 0.3-3 kg/m2
Hi
I have 1.56 m2 of tiles to grout. A little more than half is newly laid tiles. A little less than half is existing tiles where I've scraped off the top layer of grout to fill in with the same as on the new ones.
The bag states 0.3-3 kg/m2. That's quite a large range, and it's difficult to draw any conclusions from it. A bit strange since the joints are about the same width and depth.
I have two kg of powder to mix. Do you think it will be enough?

it depends on how many joint lines you have. if you have 60x60 tiles then 0.5 kg of grout is enough. if you have mosaic and tiles are thick (e.g., granite ceramic mosaic with 1cm deep joint lines) 2kg might not be enough
