Hello, is there anyone here who has built either with loose timber or pre-cut frames, who can give an indication of how long it takes to assemble a frame for a house of about 100-150 sqm?
I'm considering which route to take if I build myself. A pre-cut frame is convenient for someone who isn't a carpenter, while there's still some money to save by cutting and measuring yourself. But the question is how the time differs, which is worth more.

We make a loose material frame in about 1 week with two people, if you are alone, estimate 2-3 weeks before you can receive roof trusses, it's good to get the external sheathing on the frame before the trusses to add some rigidity to the walls before the roof goes on.N Nygge72 said:Hi, is there anyone here who has built either with loose materials or pre-cut frames themselves, who can give an indication of how long it takes to assemble a frame for a house of about 100-150 square meters?

How do you proceed then, do you do it stud by stud, or do you cut all the studs to the right length at once, then just assemble them?Rejäl said:

Do you know if it's possible to finish the exterior (spring/summer/fall), i.e., just the weather protection? Then leave it empty from insulation and heat (fall/winter/spring) if it will suffer damage, or must insulation/plastic/heat be applied as soon as possible?
