Hello!
I have been considering installing construction plywood + drywall and fastening the kitchen cabinets to it. Do you think it can securely hold screws?
I also considered OSB 12 mm + drywall 13 mm, but maybe the OSB won't hold the screw properly?

It is guaranteed to last!! Go for it!

I set up my kitchen with 12 mm construction plywood and it's staying put. No problems. OSB would probably work too. Just make sure to screw the cabinets together and use sufficiently long screws. If you have the option to screw the board at the top edge, it might feel good to do so.

Isn't it easy to tear an OSB? If you pull too hard, it feels like it might break the board instead of gripping.

Unfortunately, I have too little experience to comment, and that's why I chose plywood, just to be safe.
I can only guess that a slightly thicker screw (6) would handle it well in OSB. Maybe someone else knows.

No problem.
Use a coarse-threaded wood screw, and it will drive nicely :)
