Two-story house with horizontal siding and wooden deck framing, showing where a future conservatory roof will be attached to the facade. White wooden house facade with horizontal siding and several windows. Ideal for discussing roof or wall paneling connections. I will soon assemble a conservatory with a gable roof (polycarbonate) from willabgarden. The question is how to best connect it to the facade with horizontal paneling?

I would prefer not to cut the panel and place a folded sheet metal behind that extends over the polycarbonate roof. Is this the best solution?

Would it work to place a sheet metal that goes up a bit on the wall and seal it with silicone between the facade and the metal - and for this metal to extend 15-20 cm over the polycarbonate?

Ask Willab Garden, from whom you purchased the conservatory. They should have recommendations on how the sealing at the back should be done.

How did you do it? Curious as I have similar thoughts.
