Hi!

We are having issues with condensation in the kitchen ventilation. The house is a split-level, and we have a cold attic above the kitchen. I suspect it might be about insulating the duct. If it usually helps, I would be very grateful for advice on the best way to do it.

Attached is a picture of the ventilation up in the attic (no fan or vvx is connected to force the air).

Many thanks in advance!

  • Ventilation duct in attic space with visible insulation issues; potential condensation problem due to lack of pipe insulation; wooden ceiling above.

Use this with tie wire and tape to avoid condensation dripping into the fan
Thank you so much for the help!!
