Hello,

I am looking for a type of concrete screw for a home project but it seems the screw in question is only sold to businesses (like through Ahsell, Flamco and you also have to buy them in packages containing 100 pieces). I attach the picture and would be grateful if someone could suggest where one could buy them in "bulk" as a private individual.

Check with Hilti, I know they have these concrete screws, but I'm a bit unsure if they sell them individually.

What should be attached to them? I remember that some ventilation or pipe companies use them in concrete vaults.

Hi,
Hilti does not sell to private individuals and does not sell individually.
But if you can get in touch with someone there, then it's bingo...

I will attach them to the concrete ceiling and screw in a threaded rod as a stabilizing part of a shelving system. Here is the inspiration video from YouTube:

Just keep in mind that it is difficult to drill in exactly the right spot. This solution allows for no adjustment.

Awesome tools for mounting fixtures to the ceiling with threaded rod!

How many do you need?

I have a few lying around...

You're right about that. Actually, I can imagine some type of screw with internal threads to be able to screw in a threaded rod.

Actually, I'm still in the planning stage but if I estimate, I think 10 would be enough.

Run this one then. Slagankare

Expansion bolts obviously also work great, but they place higher demands on the concrete as the anchoring only occurs about 3cm into the concrete!

But as the icing on the cake, it provides a much more aesthetically pleasing installation! (y)

You can also drill deeper and thread in a bolt to hit to get it further into the concrete.

Why not just attach the threaded rod with anchor adhesive?
