Why not just secure the threaded rod with anchor compound?
What is that?

Hello,

I'm looking for a type of concrete screw for a DIY project, but it seems the screw in question is only sold to businesses (like through Ahsell, Flamco) and even then, you must buy them in packages containing 100 pieces. I'm attaching the picture and would appreciate if someone could advise where one could buy them in "bulk" as an individual.

How heavy is the item you want to hang?
Perhaps it's sufficient with a plug, screw dowel, and extension nut.
Available at Biltema.
Dual-threaded screw bolt; one end wood thread, other end machine thread, used for heavy-duty hanging setups, common in building projects. A metal hexagonal coupling nut for connecting threaded objects, often used in construction and renovation projects.

Unfortunately, the load is impossible to predict, but it will be part of a shelving system for item storage in the garage, and I would prefer the shelf to withstand at least 100-150 kg. Using screw bolts and extension nuts might be a good idea.
