About to renovate the toilet on the main floor. The house is a basement house with concrete floors between the levels. On the concrete are framed floors in all rooms, except for the toilet/bathroom, where the floor is cast in concrete. How was it usually done in the 70s (1973), is it concrete all the way down to the concrete floor structure, or is it like a layer on top of something else? I need to move the drain, so I'm a bit curious how much breaking there will be. Does anyone know?
