Hello!
New kitchen in progress.
We have agreed on everything when it comes to the design of the cabinets, layout, appliances, flooring, walls, ceiling, lighting, etc etc.
The only thing we are not completely agreed on is the choice of material for the countertops.
One of us would really like stone, black high gloss, and has already found a supplier, gotten a quote, etc etc.
The other of us is perhaps more into concrete slabs, polished in high gloss, maybe pigmented in some interesting color.
We might agree on the concrete if it weren't for one small thing.
The one of us who is hesitant about the concrete has heard somewhere that these slabs don't last in the long run, they crack, fray at the edges, etc etc.
Those of you who have had concrete slabs for some time/years, what is your general opinion on the durability??
