I'm soon about to install a staircase down to the basement.
The wooden wall will transition to concrete block in the shaft for the staircase.
Today there is about 10 cm clearance between the wall and the staircase.
The staircase will be U-shaped, i.e., straight - landing - straight.
How do you suggest going about it?
For example, install steel studs, OSB, plasterboard on the concrete wall, and then the staircase?
Widen the landing and mount directly on the concrete wall or install plasterboard on the wall first?
