Choosing the Right Length for Panel Boards
I'm going to buy panel boards for my construction project and I'm a bit curious about how to think when choosing the length of the boards.
The panel should be 22x120 and installed horizontally.
Spontaneously, I've thought about buying 4800mm long boards, then the jointed length will be 90cm and that should look pretty okay, right? Any inputs?

Offset the joints to avoid a general joint; the result will be much nicer. So when you have nailed up your 90cm piece, you start with the offcut from the same board. Then the next joint will be at 180cm, and so on.
It is incredibly important to do it this way so that the seams spread over the entire surface. It gets even better if not all the boards are the same length from the start, so all symmetry in seaming disappears.....A Albans doktor said:
It's a storage, so there are only two windows, one on the gable and one on one long side. Unfortunately, they didn't have tongue and groove, I asked for it as there will be the least waste 🙂nino said:
