I have chosen to use green particle board as a subfloor, then oil-hardened bottom board that the wood fiber insulation rests on. The idea is that you want diffusion-open materials when working with wood fiber insulation. Should I have chosen regular particle board? Or how precise does it have to be?
The problem that arose was that there was a water leak through the tarpaulin and the water ran down through the drain hole and straight into the insulation. In such situations, do you need to rip up and dry out regardless? Some people said it's fine, it will dry. But it feels difficult to dry with the materials I have chosen without having to rip up? Is that correct?
