I am going to build a storage/guest room. The house will be 30 sqm. Approximately 7.2x4 meters.

Now I'm planning to purchase machine nails for my project and I'm wondering which dimensions of nails I should choose.
I am using a Paslode IM90

Wall paneling attached to 45x95 studs
The roof consists of 190x220 studs
20 mm tongue and groove boards
25x34 battens.

What nail dimensions would you choose?

No one knows what I should use?

My thought was to use 90mm for the panel and 75mm for the battens. What do you think about that?

Then I'm wondering what type of nail to use. There's hot-dip galvanized at proffsmagasinet for 122kr for 1200. Then we have Paslode and Essve other brand nails. What is preferred?

The rule is usually 2.5 times the thickness of the wood, so a 20mm panel goes with 65x2.8mm nails. Battens should be set with 75x2.8 and the frame should be set with a minimum of 90x3.1. Proffmagasinet yes... There are good things at Jula too!

Gas pistols tend to be a bit slow, especially for setting the frame if I remember correctly. You have to press, wait, shoot, and then you're rarely on the mark. Either make sure to have two people, one holding and one shooting, or attach with a small screw first and then shoot when everything is ready. I usually screw with the cheapest decking screws 55mm from Jula.

Tiny bearing batten, what type of roof are you going to use?

Thanks for the tip.
What would you recommend for nails? Is there a big difference between brands?
If anyone has 34-degree nails they want to sell, send a PM.

I googled batten. And 25x36 was recommended there. I saw that I wrote it wrong before. It's 25x36 I ordered. Both as load-bearing batten and counter batten. I'm going to have roof tiles. Doesn't that dimension work then?

You don't need to focus solely on brand names. However, you do need various nails that are right for the specific tasks you are going to do. For example, you don't use 90mm nails for fixing panels; instead, a threaded panel nail is used.

There is some information to read about this here. https://www.guidecenter.se/. You can navigate through the site to find out what you are supposed to do and then get suggestions for suitable nails according to AMA. It might be that the specific company doesn't have nails with the angle your gun requires, but you'll find the right type/diameter/length.

For the battens, I recommend going up to 25x48(50)

I googled bärläkt. And there they recommended 25x36. I noticed I wrote wrong before. It's 25x36 I've ordered. Both as bärläkt and ströläkt. I'm going to have roof tiles. Doesn't that dimension work?
25x36 works fine!

I have used Essves and Gunnebos machine nails, no issues, in my opinion. (y)
90mm nails for the frame.
75 or 60 for the panel.
75 for battens.

Shouldn't be any problem with the gas gun.
I've nailed an entire garage and more with one.

Sure, it might work with 25x36 as battens, but to save a few bucks, I wouldn't do it! Besides, it's awkward to walk on the roof and be afraid of breaking the battens while building.

25x48 is recommended according to träguiden, which knows what's best.
On the roofs I've built, we have often used thicker dimensions than that, like 36x48 or 36x70.

There you have all 3 dimensions you need, although you can actually get by with 75 and 90 mm nails.
Nothing wrong with that nail, it does the job.
There are also good angle brackets you can buy for the roof beams to make it easier.
