Hi

I am planning an Attefall house to be used as a sunroom, similar to an enclosed porch. Outside, I will have a regular deck with a spa bath. There is a certain risk that some water might be brought onto the floor inside the house. I want insulation in the roof, walls, and floor of the house, but the question is how should I construct the floor? I initially thought of using the same composite decking inside as outside, but since it is not sealed, dirt and water might fall/run through the gaps to the subfloor. In addition, the foam insulation would also be visible through the gaps. What is the best covering and how do you deal with building plastic under the floor?

How large should the gaps in the decking be? An alternative to the possibility of the foam being slightly less visible is if you had laid some kind of fabric over it, a dark wind barrier or something.

You say it's not sealed regarding the decking. I suspect you are referring to the gaps that occur between the glass panels' track and the decking (correct me if I'm wrong), but a solution there could be to seal the gaps; there are various alternatives. Sealant or something similar?

Yes, partly there, but composite decking is a highly movable material, so there will always be a couple of millimeters of space between the boards as well. Maybe it’s a better solution to install a regular floor instead?
