I am a bit confused and hope someone more knowledgeable here can help me. Renovating the house from '79. Sent in vinyl wallpaper from the kitchen (peelable) for analysis. No asbestos fibers found in the sample. Then sent in a sample for analysis on tiles (adhesive/grout) from the kitchen. This was also negative. Friends examined the sample and we therefore sent in a new one, taken 30 cm from the first sample. Asbestos was detected in that one. Contacted the company and expressed my confusion, questioning how reliable this test is since it produced two different results. She could not answer that, only that they saw in the second test that the asbestos fibers were superficially on the adhesive.

So, where the asbestos is located is still unclear? Could it be from the particle boards? They look like regular particle boards.

Particle boards did not contain asbestos. If one wanted a fireproof board, an eternit board was used.
