Have a house from the early 60s that was built as a summer house, but mostly used as year-round residence. What was once the entrance to the summer house became a bathroom when the toilet was taken into the house. The height is only about 2m to the ceiling (~4.5° roof slope) and the roof currently consists, from outside in, of roofing felt-underlay-plywood-expanding polystyrene boards (about 1-2 cm thick).
Given the conditions, are there any other options for construction? I'm primarily thinking about interior materials. Are polystyrene boards the best option regarding insulation and moisture/mold risk?
