Hi,

I don't know if the headline turned out well, but I have a ceiling shelf I was thinking of installing in the garage. http://www.jula.se/catalog/bygg-och-farg/forvaring/forvaringshyllor-lador/forvaringshyllor/takhylla-666038/

The picture there is quite misleading, as the legs are completely straight when you fix them to the ceiling and according to the accompanying diagram, it’s CC 110 between the holes. The rafters have CC 120.
At first, I thought about angling with 100mm screws but that didn’t work out well. How do you do this in the simplest and safest way so you don’t end up with the shelf on your head one day if things are placed on it? Do you need to weld an extension in such a case or can you do it in a smarter way?

Any tips are welcome!

Happy Easter!

draw two boards/studs over the rafters and then screw them in. Type --> #

Yeah, it struck me later that I should have been clearer, I tried to avoid something external because it becomes so ugly but maybe I'll simply have to take that route. Thanks for the reply!
