Today, there is a staircase between two floors. The ceiling height is 2.4 m on each floor. The opening is as large as the entire staircase, which means that at the first step, the ceiling height is 4.8 m. The plan is to enclose part of the opening to have a small wardrobe on the upper floor. How much of the opening can be enclosed? Is there any rule regarding how "low" it can be? You should not hit your head on the edge when going up and down, and you should not have to duck.
Would it maybe be sensible to enclose it up to where there's at least 2.4 m in height, or could you even go to 2.2?

According to the standard, the clearance should be at least 2 meters.
