Something that is considered good against pests is to have cedarwood near where you want to get rid of them.
So a thought occurred to me; if you have wooden floors, can you use cedarwood as a flooring material?
With a house where all the floors are made of cedarwood, the pests should never dare to come forward.

Or is it less suitable as flooring?

Is the problem with pests that big then?

Recurring and growing problem, unfortunately.

Is cedarwood a good flooring material?

Seems mostly to be a wood for outdoor needs. Paneling and decking or similar. Seems to smell a bit, so maybe not so suitable for indoor environments?
Also, I'm not sure I agree that the problem is that big. If it's that big, then the pests will probably eat the framework instead?
