Does anyone have tips or can tell me the best way to cast a couple of plinths? They should be quite sturdy, and I plan to use adjustable plinth shoes in them.
Do I need reinforcement in them or not? Can I extend the concrete with small stones?

Reinforcement is suitable to use, and if there are only a few plinths, it is easiest to buy ready-mixed mortar, then no mixing of sand or stone is needed.
