Casting hollow sections, max 5 degrees outdoors
I am currently draining the house and will cast cove on the ledge. It just occurred to me that it is currently -2 degrees outdoors and during the day it will reach a maximum of 8 degrees. I was planning to use regular mortar to build the slope. How will this work considering the temperature, is there anything I can do to improve it?
Antifreeze, hot water and covering.

I seem to recall that it was mentioned in a thread that instead of casting on a hålkärl on the heel, it might be an idea to cut the corner of the heel with an angle grinder and diamond blade to create a slope that way?
Added some antifreeze for -3 degrees, the temp won't drop lower than +1 tonight. I guess it's just a waiting game now.
I asked a drainage company and they didn't recommend removing part of the footing.
How long might it take for this to cure enough for me to install the membrane?
