Sketching out different options for a project, and one solution is to take a larger pipe, such as form tube or similar. The length doesn't need to be too large, about 100mm. The problem I'm facing at the moment is that I need to insert some type of pipe or solid piece approximately 36mm in diameter. But I can't find anything cheap to use since it only needs to be there until it starts drying, then I'm supposed to try to remove it, and the result is supposed to be a concrete ring where I place a spotlight.

So my question is, is there a good trick to use if you don't have the right size of something to place in the middle where you want the hole?

The lamp should be 35, so I need to figure out what can be used for 35-36mm.

Saw a piece of wood, foam, VP-rör 32mm. Just a few ideas.

mm thanks, have had those thoughts and will continue to see what can be done.

Hmm don't have them nearby but you gave me something to think about. When I checked with the local dealers, it was the inner dimensions they had shown, so just take a caliper and measure tomorrow :)

Cellplast (frigolit) as C.Lundin suggests is unbeatable when casting!

A toilet paper roll that you fill with something, foam for example, will probably do as well.
