Hello!

We have cast three floors now within a week, and today the first casting is 8 days old. We want to cast the grooves after the level pipes with concrete, how do I prime? Is water enough?

Furthermore, we have removed the floor drain in the garage and placed a new one, when we cast it into the existing floor, how do I prime then?

Best regards,
/Christian

Alright... Must the concrete being primed be completely dry or can it be slightly damp? When I quickly read about MD16, it mostly mentioned fix and such, but does it also work for concrete on concrete?

Best regards,
/C

MD 16 works. Something to keep in mind, though, if you don't already know, is that when you prime and are about to apply mortar on top, the primer should be wet, unlike fixatives, putties, or similar where the primers should have dried for at least an hour or two.

Couldn't it be filled in when pouring the rest of the floor? Usually, you pull up the tracks before the concrete has started to set and click mortar into the channels. Then you skim it off and voilà! the hole is gone.
