I'm having some trouble figuring out how to handle the framing of the garage door. I've framed the door which should be 3000mm, and the frames are set with a 3044mm distance to fit two panels of 22mm each. I've folded and stapled the wind barrier into the opening on the frames. Is there a need for some type of air gap behind the panel that will be placed in the opening? I've used 28x70 nail battens on the entire facade.

The other thing I'm unsure about is how to make the transition from the panel being set in the opening to the inside of the garage. The door is actually mounted on the inner wall of the garage, so you don't want drywall or OSB in contact with the outdoors, right?

Thanks!

How did it go? I have the same thoughts...
