Siding for garage door
Hello.
Now I'm planning to clad around the garage door and I'm wondering how you did it? It's 24 cm from the trim around the door to the outside of the panel. What material have you used?
Regards,

The only thing I know is sheet metal or you can use 2 panel boards and build a smyg out of them.beniblasnok said:

I did so, 2 panel planks wide.
okay thanks for the quick responses. Any spontaneous panel then or did you just use regular block against each other?

I used regular outer cladding, but placed the smooth side out.
the gate is 2.2*5 meters so there will be a joint at the top in that case but maybe you can manage that... How do you attach the plywood to the trim in that case? Never dealt with this kind of stuff...
Wouldn't it be a good alternative to split one like this to the right width? http://www.k-rauta.se/pages/product.aspx?p=LIMFOGSKIVA OBEH. Planed wood is not ideal for outdoor use, the paint doesn't adhere properly.
If the recess is 24cm deep and 5 meters long and you don't want any seams, isn't it just a matter of gluing together 2 pieces of 22x120 that are 5 meters long? I don't see the problem...
Probably going to cover it in plywood. But how do I attach the lining to the plywood? Or maybe it's not necessary?
Will be clad with plywood, but is there a good filler for outdoor use so I can fill all the knot holes?
