Hi, building a carport 730x340, 5x2 foundation blocks M16 and 5 Y in the rock with M20 bolts. 90x90 posts and 45x195 beams, half in half on the sides together with 45x120 between the posts. Length spliced half in half. 7 rafters, tongue and groove wood.
Considering a diagonal brace for reinforcement, would you place one from one corner to the other corner diagonally on top of the horizontal rafters or from one corner to the middle to another corner like a V?
Planning a bracket with reinforcement in the corners. https://www.jemfix.se/konsol-250-x-350-galvaniserad/5107/9058749/
No walls planned for now, but a cross on one gable.
Happy to take some ideas
