I think I might have managed to remove part of a load-bearing wall. :blushing:
The question now is whether it's possible to support it with about 3 meters of free-hanging and about 1 meter that can be attached to/on/against the remaining wall?
The wall that was removed was two layers with 30mm thick paneling with a sliding door in between.
Where the wall was, there is now a stove.
The reason for the free-hanging requirement is the chimney breast, which has a protruding "wall piece" of about 120mm. The stove, which is clad in soapstone, stands almost entirely against the chimney breast's wall extension (1-2cm in between).

That was the first thought that struck me, but unsure if it's appropriate. The crux is that I suspect that it is the "bröstväggen" that has been removed. Unsure because there is no wall above. 1 1/2 story house with a finished upper floor.
Do you mean a beam that is only attached at one end?
For someone (not me) to be able to comment on whether it is possible, one needs to know more about what this beam is supposed to support. For example, how large is the span of the floor on the level above, and any other walls that are on the surface that is affected.
To get an idea yourself of what is reasonable, it might be helpful to know that the standard for load in a home is that you should be able to have 200kg plus the floor's own weight per square meter of floor area.
So if you, for example, have a 20 sqm floor above this beam, it gives 4 tons, but half of that is probably taken up by the exterior walls.

What I mean is that I want to attach the beam to just one end. From what I can read from the drawings, the joists are otherwise only hanging in the outer walls. One wall on the upper floor is about 1 meter beside the wall that has been removed, and the other wall on the upper floor is about 2.5 meters beside. The distance between the outer walls is about 9 meters. Can it hold without a beam? There was an opening with sliding doors before, and now there is instead a portal with about 40 cm left to the ceiling.
