Close-up of ceiling paneling with a measuring tape showing approximately 14x145 mm dimensions, related to covering a removed skylight in a 1972 house.
We have covered up a skylight and want to fill the hole with the same type of ceiling panel used in the rest of the upstairs.
The house is from '72. It seems to be 14x145 that was used, but is it possible to find this profile somewhere? As an alternative, I'm considering the possibility of routing the pattern myself, but I only have an 8mm hand router and I'm unsure if I can replicate the same profile. The bead router bits I've found don't have the smooth transitions I see in this profile.

The last resort is to find a picture big enough to cover the hole, but it looks a bit odd with a picture on a slanted ceiling... :-/

How many running meters are we talking about then?

It's possible to have steel manufactured and new boards milled, but it becomes costly if only a few boards are needed.

A hand router works if you can find a router bit with a similar profile. In that case, you should probably mount the router in a table.

It's about a surface of 80x110 cm, so it will be an expensive panel if I have to develop a profile for them :-)

I have built a router table that works well, but the problem is finding profiles that work...

If someone else has the same question -- I think I've found it: It's apparently called Møllerstue and is available for purchase in Norway.
