I am going to build a small wall in the garden to separate the lawn from the parking area with a slight difference in height. I'm considering how to calculate how many bags of mortar I'll need. I've found some examples based on m2 walls. But for a small wall, and whether using joint or full stuffing, including mortar for top stone, etc.
If you don't have a trowel, do you use joint or full stuffing?
My wall will be built with Leca blocks 190x190x590. Length 420cm, Height 3 layers plus top stone, so it's like calculating 4 layers in practice. So in total, I'll lay 4 x 4.2m layers.

Yes, everything on the same day. I might do the top stone afterwards.K kniv said:
I have a concrete mixer, but also access to a larger handheld mixer. It won't be extreme amounts, so it's probably easiest for me to mix with the handheld mixer 1-2 bags at a time.
Then I should end up with about half. I'll buy 5 bags and that should be enough. If it comes up short, it's just for the top stone, so I can take a break thereK kniv said:
