Hello all wise ones,

I'm about to embark on building a greenhouse on a wall but also plan to build up one of the short sides. The manufacturer of the greenhouse recommends using full bricks, especially since the gable will be a little over 2 meters high and largely freestanding.

To complicate matters, we've decided on a type of brick that looks best with colored mortar, and since we live in a remote area, we want to order all the bricks and mortar so we can complete it during the holiday.

I find plenty of calculations for half-brick walls, but nothing regarding when to have double layers. I assume that the extra joint between the bricks will require quite a bit extra?
