We are going to build a wall that separates the living room and dining room. The wall will have built-in shelves, a few of them. The wall will be about 3 meters long. Any tips on how to do it? Pictures?

Hello
What do you mean by built-in shelves? Should the shelves protrude from the wall on one or both sides? Do you want continuous shelves (i.e., "holes" in the wall)?
We (I) built a divider in 18 mm MDF. The wall, which is only one board wide - 122 cm, was made about 30 cm thick. We have shelves on the short side, as well as a couple of continuous shelves with LED spots - it turned out great. If you want, I can try to get a couple of pictures ...

We are going to build a fairly thick wall with built-in shelves, about 7-8 of them. The wall will be approximately 3 meters long and the width will probably be 30-40 cm wide. On the other side, it will be completely flat where a wall TV will be mounted.
There will be no door, so it will be open between the dining room and TV room.
Please send the pictures, Miakel, to my email if you can? So I can see how you've done it.
Best regards, Hanna

I have built libraries etc. with Ikea's Billy bookcases, they are perfect to use as a base. Saw off the plinth on the cabinets and build them into the wall flush with the front edge, then add a nice molding that frames everything and covers the seam with the wall and covers the "gap" between the cabinets. Unfortunately, I have no pictures...
Hello again Thanks for all the great tips but does anyone have pictures to send me? It would be greatly appreciated because I would like to see how you have built them and get a bit more inspiration.
Mikael, did you have pictures??

Here are some pictures ... sorry it took a little time!
The pictures show the wall from the front and back as well as the shelves on the end. I have installed electricity and antenna outlets in the wall. All cables are inside behind the door in the picture where the TV and stereo are connected. Built-in speakers and LED lights in the shelves. We are super happy.
