Hello!
Last spring we made the mistake of using pressure-treated wood to frame around a balcony door we installed. We had bought the wrong dimension of the wood, so since it was a Sunday and eagerness took over, I thought that the beams left over from the deck project should suffice.

I've realized in hindsight that this was foolish!! It's about 4 meters that I've built into the exterior wall, what can happen? Can there be a bad smell indoors because of this little? Anything else, hazardous to health?

Really hope it's not a problem because I had a 150x150 beam of pressure-treated wood installed this spring. It was the carpenter who bought it as he couldn't find the same dimension in untreated wood. Hopefully, he knew what he was doing. :O

As long as the impregnated wood is not exposed to moisture, there is no danger.
