Building winter storage for the boat?

Anyone here who has built or seen any plans on how to craft a tent for a boat (sitting on a trailer) that can withstand winter's challenges?

I personally think 45*70 and a lot of tarpaulin, could that work?

Is what my father and I built from, with fittings to hold everything together and to make it easy to disassemble. My father's little tent is probably 12x5 and 5 high somewhere (33-foot motorsailer) and has held up for around 10 years at least. With replacement of tarpaulins as needed, of course.
