Hello everyone!

I would like some help on how to build a wall panel on an enclosed balcony. I don't have much knowledge about construction techniques or execution.

The wall currently is just made of metal sheets (see pictures). Around it, there are metal studs.

My question is really how should I proceed? Should I attach the panel directly to the metal studs, or should I do as in the sketch I drew where I thought of framing with 22x45 studs and attaching them on top of the existing metal studs?

Yes, many questions. But the pictures provide a bit more info on how the wall looks today and might help someone here with tips on how I can best proceed.

Thanks in advance.
