Hello! I have bought 18 pieces of 45*45*2500 studs, angle irons, and screws to build a storage system for sheet material and boards. I plan to build it roughly like this, see image:
: Sketch of a storage system design for boards, featuring labeled sections indicating plank placement and side storage for sheets in a timber building.
Illustration of a corner joint with three wooden beams forming an L-shape, showing where screws are placed for a storage system construction.
Do I build the lower corners as per the image? I'm also wondering how to avoid screwing into the first two screws when I attach the other two and if the 45*45 stud will crack from being screwed through 4 times.

Grateful for tips. This is what it looks like where I want to organize, it's the upper floor of a log outbuilding. There is space to insert timber from the short end of the "shelving system."

Wood planks and sheets stored in an attic of a log building, with beams visible on the ceiling. Collection includes various lengths and sizes.

2x2" becomes weak as 'shelves' to store planks on, 1x4" on edge is better.

Hello,
How is it going with this? Is it built now? What wood dimensions did you end up with?
