Building interior wall, size of studs?
Hello!
I am planning to build a small bedroom in my apartment and I will need to put up 2 walls (meeting from different walls), but I'm a bit uncertain about the dimensions I should choose for the studs.
The dimensions of the walls are 2M and on wall 1 I will have a door, and on wall 2, I am thinking of having a window which will probably be 60 wide to make it easier with the studs. The ceiling height is 2.7M.
My questions:
The recommendations are to use 70x45 studs. But is it okay to use 45x45? I will be installing OSB+gypsum on both sides.
I will be using steel studs if that makes any difference.
Do I need to consider anything special when it comes to installing a door and window?
And how should I best handle the studs in the corner where the two newly built walls meet?
Appreciative of all responses.

It works with 45mm steel studs when you use double layers of boards on both sides, remember to offset the joints on both sides and you'll get a stable wall. Regarding the question about the outer corner, it's common to complete one wall first, including the boards, and then build the other against it.
Okay, it becomes very shaky or what should one say?
If you turn 90 degrees on 95x45 then you can't put the OSB boards on one side? Or how do you do it then?
I will be using metal studs.
Yes, I will be doubling up on each one. By offsetting, do you mean starting, for example, with a half OSB board and then continuing with a full one to then be able to start with a full drywall?
Okay, yes that sounds simple to do! Thanks for that!
