Planning to add an extension to our townhouse. The extension will be built next to the neighbor's extension. How should I approach building fireproof? Where can I read about this area in an understandable way?
My own thought is that my wall facing the neighbor could look like this (from inside out):
Double gypsum - vapor barrier - wooden studs cc60 with some fireproof insulation, 170x45 - outer cladding in the form of Cembrit Heavy Duty (Minerit Fasad). Am I thinking right or wrong?

I have good reading tips if you want to delve into the subject. First, Google "så brinner husen." The Gothenburg fire service has made some great material. Read the teacher's guide. Alternatively, you can visit the MSB's website. There, go to Products and Services/Publications. Search for protection against accidents and indoor fire.
To answer your question. Double gypsum is good, residential sprinklers are very good. But you need to consider what you want to protect in case of a fire. If it's your neighbor's house, you might want fire-resistant glass in the windows. If it's your house, you might want to invest in a tighter door, etc.
