I'm thinking of building an entrance staircase with curb stones and cobblestones; the height to the threshold is about 80 cm.
You want to have some kind of platform to stand on when you put down the bags, so something like 120cm x 120cm should be good.
But the problem is what to do about the sides; should one side be cast up with concrete blocks? One side will run along the house, but the other will be open outward. How do you make it look nice and durable?
Any ideas?
