We have a wooden deck in front of the cabin. Now we want to build windbreaks preferably with the same panel and color as the cabin. There will be a windbreak on each side, to be attached to the cabin wall and follow the deck about 1-1.5 meters. Can anyone give tips on how to build this, anything to keep in mind?

The construction technique I won't comment on much, but here are a few things to consider:
- The windbreak shouldn't be completely airtight, as this will cause the wind to swirl around. It should have some permeability to function optimally. If you want it to be visually tight, overlapping boards on either side of the studs are preferable - if that matches the existing wall...
- Remember that it can only be 180 cm high
- Based on my own experience with hurricane gusts: the attachment to the deck will be the weak point, if possible, make sure to secure the vertical stud under the deck.
