Hello everyone during the holiday season!

If I'm posting in the wrong place, please feel free to move it; this forum is the best place I can find.

I currently have a concrete footing built with stone as a wall against the street, and I want to raise this to 60 cm and plaster it to make it look nice.
Are lecablock sensible for doing this?

There won't be any ground pressure against the wall as it will be a freestanding wall.

Build up the wall and plaster everything to get an even surface, feel free to place a couple of 10 mm iron bars in the second to last layer for better stability, don't forget to make a cap that protrudes slightly outside (concrete, sheet metal, wood). Water can get in and it can freeze in the joints.
