Building a gate between house and garage
Hello. I am planning to build a gate between the house and the garage and I'm wondering if anyone knows what's required. Is a building permit needed or should special safety considerations be taken due to fire risk? Choice of materials, etc?
Then, of course, I have a lot of questions regarding construction techniques.

No.
No.
Pressure-treated wood
Oh, that was quick!
Ok, so let's get started then. What type of wood and dimensions are suggested? I was thinking of the following construction:
the space where the door should cover is 150 cm, i.e., between the house and garage, but I was thinking of making the door 100 cm wide if that's not too much. I thought 16 cm could be used on one side to attach since a downpipe makes it impossible to utilize the full opening anyway, and there's a frame of round stones around the house measuring 34 cm out from the wall, so there's no point in opening up the entire space. The wheelbarrow and bikes we use can go through without any problem at 100 cm width. But the question is if it will be too heavy anyway. I haven't calculated the weight and dimension of the lumber. But there are probably standards that I thought I would follow. I have access to tools so I can make mortises and grooves in the planks.
I gratefully welcome all tips and ideas.
Best regards
