Hello!

I'm planning to build a wardrobe, a fixed installation, meaning attaching studs in the parquet which is floating on the floor. Is it sensible to do it this way? Or should I first use a circular saw to cut out the parquet where the wardrobe will stand and then attach the studs directly to the concrete floor?

why not attach the wardrobe to the wall and make a detachable base.. You can use adjustable feet that are available for kitchen fittings, then you just attach the included clips and get a plinth that you attach to the clips.

Hmm, yes, maybe. I'm the one who wants things to really sit properly without loose parts, but it was a good idea! I was thinking more about the parquet, that it doesn't become "floating" in the same way if I put some screws through. Also, are there other disadvantages if I keep the floor underneath?

The advantage of wall-mounting the cabinet is that I avoid damaging the floor in case I need to dismantle the cabinet again. Unfortunately, I have terrible walls, concrete that crumbles like biscuits, old house. But I will try to sketch if it's enough to secure in the walls and ceiling, I think it is! THANKS FOR THE TIPS!
